Weight loss alternatives

I am one of the lucky people, as far as weight loss goes. When I decide I need to lose weight, or a doctor tells me that I have to lose weight, I usually just have to alter my diet a little and add more exercise. For people that have large amounts of weight to lose, changing their diet and adding exercise usually isn't enough. An online friend that I had several years ago had a sister who opted to contact a lap band doctor and have the lap band procedure done. She had wonderful success with the procedure and was very happy with the results she achieved because of it!
