Loooking for Florida Tips

This coming spring my family is planning a trip to Florida. Since this will be our first major family vacation, I want to make the most of it. We're planning on at least 2 days at Disney, and a trip to the ocean is a MUST. I've been thinking about renting an Orlando rental home so that we have the ability to do our own cooking rather than having to eat out every meal. Anyone have any other tips for a Florida vacation?
