Any golfers out there?

I'm seriously thinking about taking up golf, but since I know nothing about the sport I need a little bit of help with a few things. Obviously the first part would be choosing the right equipment. I've heard that Titleist golf equipment is rated up there as one of the best. I have looked and see that they offer everything from golf balls to golf clubs and accessories. I just wondered if their products are as good as what I've read or not. Fill me in on what you think, I'd appreciate it!
