Rough night

Here I am, wide awake at 2:50 a.m. but that's because I've basically been sleeping since 4:30 yesterday afternoon, so it's to be expected. While at work yesterday I had a horribly sharp pain shoot from the base of my neck to the top of my head. After that happened, any time that I would bend or turn my head quickly I would get very dizzy and nauseous. When I got home from work I had a touch of a headache, so I took a shower and some Tylenol and called my best friend. She immediately got busy online checking my symptoms and suggested that I possibly have an inner ear infection. I took an actifed and grabbed a blanket and climbed into the recliner. I'd say within minutes I was asleep. I woke up when hubby got home from work long enough to hear him say that he wanted to run into town to grab dinner so that I wouldn't have to worry about making dinner and give him my "order". Fell back to sleep until he got home with dinner and woke up to eat. After eating I realized that I was going to end up falling back to sleep so I took another dose of actifed and Tylenol and gave in and actually climbed into bed about 6:30 or so and that's where I've been until 20 minutes ago. I feel TONS better right now and don't have the pain in my head that I was having. I'll call the doctor today and see if she can sneak me in after I get out of work because I probably need some antibiotics. So, I might as well make some coffee because I have a feeling I'm up for the day...LOL

That's what friends are for. I was worried with the way you described how you were feeling.

Hope you are feeling better now. I hate headaches ... or any kind of head pain.

Thank goodness for sleep.
