DEFINITELY not a Monday!!!

Hello there! Thanks for reading my previous rant, I appreciate it! I just wanted to pop in and say that today definitely wasn't another Monday, in fact, it was MUCH better than yesterday in spite of real feel temps of over 100 degrees!

I worked in the shop today. 90% of the day was just an ordinary day. Since it was the first day this month that I have worked I had to do July's billing and invoices, which I actually enjoy doing (SHHHHHHHH, don't tell my boss that!!!) Around 1:30 the phone rang and it ended up being a guy that we had sold a walk behind mower to earlier in the month. He was calling because his rider had broken down and it wasn't going to be worth it to fix it, nor would it be fixed quick enough for him, so he wanted to know what we had on the sales floor for Zero Turn riders. I told him what we had on the floor and he called the financing company. Within 15 minutes he called me back telling me what he was approved for and asking me to get the paperwork ready because he was on his way and would be there within half an hour. Ladies and gentlemen who read my blog, not only did this man buy a commercial mower, he also bought a bagging system for it AND a snow plow, for a grand total of almost FIFTEEN THOUSAND DOLLARS!!!!! Can you say WHOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOO!!!! I'm whooohoooing because I get 2% commission on all equipment I sell. Now, 2% may not be that much on a $300-400 dollar sale, but on $15,000, it is THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS!!!!!! I'm so freakin geeked! This couldn't have came at a better time. We have a roof to replace this month AND I have to take the kids school shopping. I am so hugely relieved!!!!!!! Anyway, I need to get my arse to bed!
